The Dutch energy transition is moving faster — and becoming more complex. We are looking for a Manager Growth & Acquisitions: an entrepreneurial strategic dealmaker who will help shape the future of the Netherlands’ sustainable energy system.
In this high-impact role, you identify and execute transactions that accelerate sustainable growth and strengthen market leadership. You combine analytical skills with commercial drive and play a key role in the Group’s next phase of strategic expansion.
 
                        As Manager Growth & Acquisitions, you play a central role in driving strategic growth. You source, assess, and execute acquisitions, partnerships, and joint ventures that strengthen the Group’s portfolio and create long-term value. You report directly to the CFO and work closely with the Director Renewables and other senior leaders. Key responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate acquisition and partnership opportunities that support strategic goals.
Lead full deal processes — from market mapping and financial modelling to negotiations and closing.
Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Legal, Business Development, Renewables) for seamless execution.
Build and maintain strong relationships with shareholders, advisors, and entrepreneurs.
Prepare and present investment cases to senior management and shareholders.
Contribute to long-term strategy through market insights and trend analysis.

                    You are a strategic, commercially minded professional with a passion for dealmaking and sustainable growth. You combine analytical skills with execution experience, thrive in dynamic environments, and act with ownership and precision. Your background:
Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in M&A, corporate development, private equity, or strategy consulting.
Proven ability to originate, structure, and close complex transactions.
Strong financial, analytical, and valuation skills.
Understanding of legal, regulatory, and commercial aspects of strategic deals.
Experience in energy, infrastructure, or sustainability sectors preferred.
Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and investors.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
Fluent in Dutch and English.
